Eero got to play his DS on the flight from SFO to Boston. In Boston we had to go through international security… somehow, on the other side of the line, we no longer had the DS. We had the distinct misfortune of being some of those suckers who buy electronics from the giant, overpriced Best Buy vending machines one sees in airports. After our overnight flight from Boston to Munich, we had a 10 hour layover. We took the S-bahn train to the Marienplatz, caught the 1 PM show? performance? of the glockenspiel, had bratwurst and beer (Vernon & Alison) and soup and warm milk (Eero & Cielo), walked up a church tower to survey the city, had some ice cream, and returned to the airport. We had a decent meal at the airport: ham and cheese sandwich, ham and cheese and pancake, and ham and cheese pasta (Eero, Vernon, Cielo) and meatloaf and potato salad (Alison).
