Queenstown
After lunch at the winery, Lenny and Mike went bungy jumping. I was
surprised to learn that bungy jumping was invented in New Zealand, and
this place is the first commercial bungy site in the world:
Ian took us up to a great viewpoint outside of town.
In Queenstown, which is the "extreme sport" capital of New Zealand, we
all rode on a jet boat on the Shotover river. The outfits they give
you are not that flattering:
We rode the gondola up from Queenstown to the top of the hill, then climbed
back down along a couple of the walking tracks.
