Too soon, it was the last day of our trip. We packed up our suitcases and headed out to catch a cab.
The kids were ready to go home.
Although there is always time for another lollipop - in fact, the Madrid airport had pretty cool lollipop vending machines!
They discovered how fun it could be to get the luggage off the carousel. This had started back in Istanbul, and we saw no reason to interfere.
Our flights home were from Madrid to D.C. and then D.C. to San Francisco. Eero slept through flying over the Rocky Mountains.
