The kids generated a lot of art during our trip. For example:
Cielo continues to be fasctinated by alternate alphabets and codes.
Cielo designed these costumes for Eero and Cielo.
She also drew this picture of Eero - he was nearly as grumpy as this looks.
One animal for each of Fire, Water, Air and Earth. The mole is especially cute.

These were inspired by the illuminations in the Book of Kells.

Eero drew this cool water dragon in the act of breathing smoke.
Eero also drew this nice island, with a boat and fish.
These moths were done by Eero. Their names, like Cielo's above, is written in some kind of magical language.
Eero also really got into drawing Pokemon during the trip, probably because all of his screen time was used for Pokemon games on the DS.
And Eero also did this really nice (but poorly photographed) picture of the four seasons.
